Running the London Underground for The Gurney Fund!!
Recruit PC’s from the British Transport Police are raising funds by running the length of the London Underground network. This remarkable achievement is also in memory of Sgt Christopher Hoare from Hertfordshire. New recruits from Kent raise money for the Gurney Fund!!
Gurney Fund Trustee, Tim Packham was delighted to accept a cheque at the Kent Police College Pass Out Parade on Friday, 6 January. The Fund is most grateful to PC Timothy Perrow and Course 4/16, who raised the magnificent sum of £2,893, and wish them every success in their police careers.
Congratulations to Martha from Norfolk who has made it into the East of England regional gymnastics squad!
Well done Martha. Mum Rebekah says “sincere thanks for your support, the funding we have received has enabled all four children to continue with their sporting activities”.
Emily from Leicestershire is achieving great success with the Leicester Sharks Swimming Club where she has recently taken 30 seconds off her personal best in the 800m freestyle. Dad Neil says “the allowance provided by the Fund makes it possible for Emily to participate in this type of activity”.
Well done to Brendan from Leicestershire who is rapidly collecting an array of football trophies and medals!

Hampshire Constabulary Families Day
Get Set Go Karting helped raise the Fund’s profile when they attended Hampshire Constabulary’s annual Families Day on 4 June. The trustees are most grateful to Louise & Chris Stagg and Mrs Tracey Plumridge for all their hard work on the day.
